I need some help guys and gals, I’m upgrading my steering to hydraulic and have everything set except the ram. There’s a bracket in the way, anyone know how to get it out? It’s in front of my tilt tube, I had dual cable steering before.

I’ve only got 4 good fishing memories; 1. My first time ever going fishing with my grandma, pretty much planting the seed, 2. My uncle Jim taking me fishing after my dad died, 3. The first time I ever filled a stringer and a moccasin ate most of them, 4. June 11, 2021 when I purchased my first ever bass boat.

B lat I have a HDS carbon at the helm with a 3 and 1 (pretty sure), the plan is to add a 2nd unit up front with active target and you’re saying to have a transducer for that one also?

Thank you sir you just made a grown man’s day, month, Christmas and year lol.

Good morning SU fishing fam, I’ve got an electronics question as I’m new to them. If I have a graph mounted at the helm and I want one on the deck; do I need a transducer for the one of the deck if I plan to use activetarget is that right?🤔

Good morning fishing crew I’ve got a question I’ve been bouncing around in my head and thought why not ask the crew and get other opinions: I’ve got a 87 ranger 363V, my steering cables need to be replaced. I’ve been bouncing the idea of upgrading to hydraulic steering but not sure if I want to pull the trigger; any opinions on upgrading or staying rack and pinion would be greatly appreciated from the community.
