You can learn a lot as a co-angler. I had 3 good boaters way younger than me that taught me a lot this year in the BFL’s. One boater pinged a minnow 30 feet deep and then he gave me some nuggets. Then I caught a 4 pounder. He then won the Toyota the next week.

The next boater, fished and urchin bait really fast ( I liked that). My third boater liked to crank and fish docks. Cranking I like and docks I needed to learn more.

Next year, I am looking forward to teaming up with my buddy, Barde , and fish the BFL’s as a team. I will be a jig master soon!

Nicely said. Where else can you find this kind of connection thru fishing? Friendships are being developed in the SUF family and memories are being made.

Barde and I got connected thru SUF and now we are having epic fishing adventures together each year.

Ok, where I am from that size fish would literally scare me! Beautiful looking fish but they got teeth!

Destiny- for the month of June, I entered two public tournaments on the Potomac River. These tournaments were upwards of 30 boats for each one. While I did not get enough weight to cash a check, I was thrillled to get a limit in each tournament.
