I’m fishing tomorrow (Friday 2/16) on the warm side of a Nuke Powerplant. I’m going to give it a try around the bridges. Water temp should be between 50-60 degrees with the air temperature at 45. 🎣

Textbook set up for bass feeding. That’s clearly a tight ball of bait and I’m glad you found it to show us. Were you suspending your bait or on the bottom? Did you change baits to keep them active? Did you use reaction baits to get the most aggressive bass first?

Excellent tip. I have experienced the loose wads of bait and now I know why I don’t catch anything. 😀🎣

Thank you Brian for the information. I’m gonna try it in my fishing this season. I’ve done the wacky rig but never added the weight to it for the Neko.

A couple of weeks ago I caught a nice one in muddy water on a white spinnerbait with Colorado blade in about 5 feet of water.

Thanks Brian for your thoughts on the size of reel to use. I’ve had issues before with different lines on reels and now I know the reason. Looking forward to more workshops. 😀🎣

I like the Plano EDGE Flex for my good ones. They are waterproof and compact. They are expensive, but Shop around and you can find them on sale. I ask for gifts cards as gifts and it makes it easier to buy.

You can also look at hardware stores and dollar stores for containers that can be easily used for fishing tackle at half the price. Just make sure you get those gel packets that absorb water.
