I’m in region 2. 10 lbs keeper would be tough but the catch and release 24 inch Largemouth Bass will be a goal for me in 2025.

Got out for a couple hours on my local reservoir. Threw the spinnerbait and crankbait. Big blades and loud for the murky water.

I found all these to be true last year when I fished over the winter on my local reservoir. I use to avoid cold, muddy water when fishing. Now, I look for it! I had success when the water was muddy and I used something big, full of action lures to get their attention. I could be over deep water but my hits were all in less than 3 feet of the water column.
