Great adjustment. Good job!

Club tournament update. I finished 6th out of 14 anglers this past weekend. We did not get the rain or wind that was forecasted from Debby so the fishery was unchanged. Crankbait bite was on in the mornings thru the hydrilla. when the sun was up high you needed real patience as the fish wanted your plastic to just lay there in the grass. Very difficult for me and im stubborn going back to moving baits. More work needed. 😀

This weekend I'm looking forward to the challenge that Hurricane Debby will present.  Virginia is expected to get several inches of rain on Thursday thru Friday and I will be fishing the Potomac River over the weekend. Not sure what to expect but eager to see if I can figure something out. I got some ideas but can I adjust when it doesn’t work out. 🤷‍♂️

Catching bass on a red colored crankbait in August with water temperatures above 85 degrees?  I Must be crazy!🤪🎣😱🤔🤫

Potomac River- shallow running crankbait in the grass. I like the pink and grey color.

Casting. Saw bait fish in the area. Threw it out and let it get near the bottom then big pull up on the rod to let it flutter back down

I was able to get out fishing today in my friend’s boat on man made lake. We found lots of baits and started out catching small bass. Then I tied on a KVD 6inch sexy spoon and the bass there fish were biting. Midday of a  bright sunny day in 10-25 feet of water. Biggest fish was 3.46lbs.
