I like the stop and go retrieve for my crankbait. When the water warms On the Potomac River we burn the crankbaits thru the grass. Bites are often after getting slightly snagged in the grass and it pulls free then …….bam!!!  Fun fishing when it works. 🎣🎣🐟

Shallow running crankbaits when there is grass for me to run it thru puts a smile on my face. 

Same for me, barb was just past my skin so I just worked it back and forth with pliers until the hole was big enough to get it out. Lots of blood, wiped it off, got bandaged to continue to fish 😀

Recently, I got a treble hook in my finger. BLAT- what are some of your injuries that occurred while fishing?

I fished one in NC this past weekend. It did pretty good going thru the grass. Even when you felt it hook grass , you could pull it free and most of the time it was grass free. It has good action. I caught one 16 inch largemouth bass on it. 

Sounds good. Yes, I caught fish on Roanoke Rapids Lake in NC.
