Watched the cold muddy water workshop and used the spinner bait. Caught two nice ones on a shad colored spinnerbait with tandem gold Colorado blades with an orange paddle tail. Water was stained to muddy, 44 degrees , 4-6 feet of depth on a cloudy day.

BLat speaking the truth in SUF!  Making me look good with the bass on the end of my line. 😀🐟🎣

That’s what I thought. I tried to use the # 7 on a bait caster and it was tough. Looking forward to trying it in a spinning rod. Thanks, 👍

Got my BLat discounted order delivered today. Just in time to fish tomorrow. Plan on putting them to use from what I learned from SUF. 😀🐟

Good information Brian, thank you. Looking forward to the next one before I fish on Thursday 😀

I like it!  Straight forward information that simplifies the fishing at this time of the year. That’s good information for us to get started. The shad rap talk reminded me of my dad talking about how good they were when he was fishing. Nice memories.

Question for you BLat, the small lighter crankbaits are you using a spinning rod instead of the bait caster?

Were the bass moving with the bait or they were stationary?

I understand. Here in Virginia we get snow one day and 3 days later it’s in the 50’s so I fish then. Remember what BLat said at this time of the year we are gaining more sunlight each day so it won’t be long before you get out there. Tight lines 😀🎣
