I would throw balsa wood baits around stumps and docks since they will float more.

To stock up for fishing start looking for tackle shows in your area. Sometimes, you can get some good deals. Before you go, do an inventory of what you have so far  so you don’t overspend. Estate sales are another way you can find some classic lures at a bulk price.
