Kayak fishing has taught me to always be ready to pivot and adjust. Wind is a huge factor and I'm always looking up 2 or 3 spots outside of the initial areas I want to fish. As far as forgetting stuff I do everything I can to keep the essentials on the kayak at all times even in storage. Only thing I forget that way is baits I want to throw.

That's the worst. Will definitely pray for him. Let us know if he has or makes a go fund me.

Some bodies of water are clear all the time which I would imagine is 20+ feet of visibility all the time. Im surprised when I can see more than 6 inches Into the water.

Usually clear is referring to depth visibility. And it's all relative to normal water conditions. All lakes get "clear" and "dirty". Average visibility of 6 inches means 12 inches of visibility is clear and 1 inch is dirty. Average visibility of 5 feet means 10 feet is clear and 2 feet is dirty.
