Well SUF fam, I can finally quote our great professor Phd. Brian Latimer ... "Thems like the ones I catch !!!".... Small shad like soft plastics did the trick for me on Saturday!!! I was able to get out to a lake the day before it shuts down for public fishing. It's only my third time fishing the lake. Caught this 20.5 in/ 3.5 lb Spot .... from the deep side of the boat. I don't know the exact depth since I don't use electronics...
Caught him on a 3\16 oz Texas Eye jig head (love those jig heads) with a 4" Pearl Blue Glimmer Diesel Minnow. Definitely a one of a kind fish had a lot of character and scars. The lip was actually partially pulled off... #olsnatchandgrab #javorslucaslake #fromthedeepsideoftheboat

Destiny Siguenza Yeah he probably knows a thing or two about them. 🤣🤣🤣. Definitely don't jump into one without researching them, I took months looking into mine... Also gotta take in added weight and water type in to consideration... Mostly don't skimp on the PFD or the paddle. I lost my first "real" paddle and bought a box store one... Huge difference in them. Gonna buy me a new "real" paddle ASAP.
