Eddie Nichols .... See what had happened was... I had the rod laying on my kayak deck. I decided that I would throw a spinner bait at a lay down. I wasn't quite close enough so I gave it an extra hard cast. Well I put a cell block attachment for my electronics and that raised my screen ... So snap crackle pop... I'm pretty sure the rod tip's death was on impact, at least it didn't suffer. 😢🤦🤦🤦

This happened to me today... Ever been freezing then fire hot? I was happy to get out there and then decided to decapitate the tip while casting a spinner bait. Not to mention my reel's bird nest could have housed a bald eagle!!!... Havent even caught a fish with it yet!
