I’m picking up fishing at a later age, previously I’ve fished coasts mostly and cat fishing lake and ponds. Looking to learn from Brian.

First video is after it was taken down to bare metal, second is before and the last pic is everything but the upgrade to the 60hp and the 80lbs trolling motor.

Brian Latimer thank you for thinking outside the box on this. I don’t munch during the day while fishing like I should so great callout. My last tourney ( the one I used in this request) I got a major headache from lack of hydration and on day two I fixed that and had a better time out there on the water. I picked up fishing as my new hobby to get out of the house as I work from home during the week in IT. Thanks for answering this one Brian.

1. South Texas just went through what I like to call fake fall. Temps drop into the mid to low temps in the morning and low 80’s for the high for about two to three weeks. Then it gets back into the mid 90-100 for another month (SIKE)

2. Fish are suspended in the water column and others are still on the bottom. Top water works ok but Texas or Carolina rigs on the bottom is key for me or some other confidence bait.

3. This is still the grind, where you will struggle to put a limit in the boat so you must stay agile to avoid sticking with the wrong thing for too long. Top in the early morning moving to creatures and jerk bait. If those fail to produce, break out the finesse type setups.

Will it be a link we can use or something listed here in the app?

Yes sir I did see that live, thanks for the follow-thru. I was just told I have to help my wife shop at Sam’s so I’ll have to watch it a little later.

I haven’t taken the neko quiz but I was at the neko live. That did help out a lot, used it this Friday and it caught a fish on the second cast.

Sure I watch what I eat as well but sometimes it’s looks and tastes good which is kinda bad. But I also mistyped on the phone. I meant finesse as I’ve learned thw Texas version of Nemo wacky style rig you showed us this weekend too ( yours was easier to follow).

Just returned from a weekend Bass tournament from Amisted Reservoir in del Rio off of the Texas and Mexico border . Caught a couple non-scoreable 12 and 13 small mouth and one large mount but I didn’t see much of a bite besides that. I know you’ve done the lake breakdown and how to prepare and I did this. I’m just looking for advice on what I can improve on with fitness because right now that lake is so low we are cut off from some sections. This was caught on a weightless fat Z Craw type plastic and a weightless white fluke.

It’s one of the reasons I have an Ulterra and a Dakota Retriver and I use both while getting used to the small Jon boat. My ski boat, I always have help.
