I grew up saltwater fishing wth spinning gear, always left handed. I got my first casting outfit in my late 40ā€™s, so there was no way I could start right handed reeling then! Lefty all the way, even though Iā€™m right handedā€¦One of the ā€œotherā€ fishing guys I follow uses spinning gear right-handed, so I assume he grew up casting. To me, thatā€™d be like trying to cut my own hair!
