I’ve had that happen to me with a really good fish and he pulled off because I rushed it using a 7:1:1 reel. I wondered what I did wrong. Now I know. Thanks for this information.

I was told a straight tail bait on a spinner bait/ chatter bait during winter time. Saying bass want less vibration and the paddle tail disrupt the vibration from the blades. I would love to get your feedback.
