I think it all depends on the day boat position is key though if I don’t catch fish one way try the other. Fish will tell you what they want.

Nathan Sipes yeah you can get super thin mats I use one under my truck bed camper to keep it from sliding on the flatbed of my truck. He didn’t put anything over his but you totally could

That’s what my friend did was take rubber matting that you would use in horse stalls and placed it down on the bottom only down side was in the heat of summer couldn’t stand bare foot on it 🄵

Yeah they do, when its this low they are very stacked up makes for some 40 plus fish days and lots of good fish. Also when it gets this low it cuts the lake down to like half or less id say so all the fish in the dunes move on out. Very unique place my favorite place, If you ever wanna come out this way id be more than happy to show you around.

Ricky Taylor they drop the water slowly so I don’t think it changes the aquatic life could be wrong but I have not noticed it changing. In September when they have it super low it’s extremely fun they get forced out of the dunes area and a lot more together. Spring water gets clear and you just watch the largemouth eat your baits don’t need electronics. Can go back in the dunes and most depth is like 10 ft
