Tim Dodson lol I’m with you brother , I think that’s what makes the great ones good is they can have a plan and get there read the conditions and make adjustments . I feel

The same way and just plan on putting in more reps and time fishing tournaments.

What’s the saying - “All you can do is all you can do”

Now go get em ! 🎣

Yes …

Knowing fishing competitively is hard is what makes it fun for me.

I’m just learning with you guys but what helps me is have a plan and almost visualize it and I write out certain things to analyze my wins that day and things I didn’t do that I should have. Probably overkill but it’s how I learn and I’m not good enough to run on instincts yet.

I try and plan out everything from , clothing, rods, baits , starting locations with back ups , all with the understanding that I could

Pivot at any moment.

That takes some of the overload off my shoulders knowing I’m prepared.

My livescope stopped working the other day and I got flustered . I regrouped put a plan in place and targeted high % areas as I should anyway . I had a 3lb fish in 15 mins .

Honestly we should be shutting off electronics now and then to challenge your mind and skills. It will only make you better .
