I would take the shot. Its a cool lake I fished it when I was in college for a college tournament. I think it was around this time of the year when I fished there. If you have any question I will help where I can.

Bryce Noack i use to fish with carrot stix rods and really liked there rods but they are no longer in business and the current rod that I have is a Dobyns. I am going to be doing some major research into some rods while I build up some cash.

Bryce Noack, I lost my job a couple years ago and have been trying to get caught back up. I had to get rid of most of my gear. I only have one rod and reel combo left for bass fishing. I am finally getting to the point financially where I can start to fishing again 

That is awesome. Thanks that helps a lot. I am definitely going to start keeping a log. I wish I was doing that when I use to fish it would probably be a big help now since I have been out of fishing for a couple of years. I use to fish almost every weekend.
