Condolences John, sending prayers your way. They’re not gone just up there on the other side.

OKC Creek Quick question

This is a fry guarder correct? Listened to Blat on science of the strike this morning. Normally I would spend about a hour trying to catch one of these but after learning how they really aren’t trying to eat I moved on after about 15 min then caught 4 creek bass and about 7 thick blue gill in the remaining 45 minutes or so.

Creek Fishing Oklahoma City Question

Caught this on a 2 inch minnow 3.18 lbs

This creek flows North into lake Arcadia there’s two smaller inlets on the north side of the lake aswell

I lost a second one that was fighting a lot harder when it cut my braid off on a rock.

How long of a leader do you all like on your braid to Flouro setup? I was down to about a foot after multiple re-ties.

Yeah it did croke

William Hager I think you are right. There are some lakes here that have them. Thank you!

I don’t know it was a bullhead Cato just assumed little channel cat

Yep so far for me Bass-Striped,Spotted,LM, Blue Gill all kinds,Crappie,Trout,Channel Cat,Turtle

Now that you mention it. It does almost look fake! I’m going to assume it’s because of good pond management. Pumped waterfall, Dye, Gated,HOA,Iindependent Senior Homes. I was expecting maybe some small blue gill at most.
