Did some fun cranking today on the St Lawrence River. Caught this PB Smallmouth at 5lbs and 7 ounces. B.Lat has taught me well.

Today marks 3 years to the day I caught my PB (9lbs 2oz). My casual approach toward bass fishing went away in the blink of an eye. I've been on a pursuit for a double digit bass since. It's been pretty much an obsession since. Fishing nearly 365 except storms with lightning.

Who else can remember their pb like it was yesterday?

My partner and I fished our first college open club tournament yesterday and walked away with some money. We finished 5th out of 50+ teams and finished 3rd out of the college club anglers which quilified us for the "travel team". Not to bad for a pair of freshmen.

Had an interesting day yesterday on a fishing trip to the Chattahoochie river with my buddy Corey Richardson... we caught some good fish, and had a great time... we launched our kayaks from Belton Brudge boatramp, fished way up to the shoals, then fished back down... about a mile from the takeout ramp, we ran into a man and his son who were floating in innertubes from the ramp above down to Belton ramp.. They asked for help cause the man's legs were cramping and he couldn't go any further.. so, with our kayaks, we towed them about a mile down to the boatramp... They were super nice people, and we were more than happy to be of help.. needless to say, I didn't even get home till after 11pm ..lol
