What's up SUF fam. I recently went fishing with my Omnia app. I don't have any electronics so it shows me water depth and underwater contour changes. I had to break out my " Knockoff Nalgene bottle tote'n wanna be environmental science major days" to remember how to read the contours.
So, I thought not everyone may understand what they are looking at. On the 3D image pics you can mentally flip the image and imagine it as a hole or valley or you can imagine it covered in water as a cliff or mound all depending on the depth number listed on the contour line... The main thing to remember is... The closer the lines the steeper the slope like a ledge and the further the lines the more gentle the slope. Hope these help...

One last solid one on the jig for the season. Getting around that time to where we're going to start to be drilling holes in the ice for fish next. Plus it's huntin season!

Another tourney in the books, this one Lake Dunlap in New Braunsfel. Caught a few and this round I was the one to put us on the bite and figured out what works. I also fished this spot a lot because it so close to me. My first two locations turned into bites. Texas rig with a Zoom or Yum pumpkin lizard. This is a high pressured area so catching is a big deal.
Another Friday fun day. Fish are still moving up in the shallows during the morning here in North Texas. Blue bird skies again with morning air temps high 40s warming up to 70. Water temps 66-70. Worked on a few techniques and put a theory to the test...and it worked. Another successful trip!
I'm tellin y'all, Lake Juliette is a hard nut to crack... Hooked a good one on a diesel minnow, but my line got wrapped up in anchor.... Back to the video... Bait balls were everywhere. Yet nothing really blowing up on them. What do ya think, have y'all ever seen that???
Saw this one blowing up on bait! I’ve been keeping some sort of jig in my hand since the live with Randy B.

WOW, one heck of an afternoon. 18 fish total, with these three lunkers. I was the only one on the lake again! I used to hate fall fishing... All of these were on deep structure, I assume their winter homes. Thanks for letting me share the pics.
