I spent my last day fishing in Florida fishing from the bank spent a lot of time thinking about the families impacted by the terrible accident. My heart goes out to them.

On a more positive note, here’s some pictures recapping my visit with my Florida people.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Maybe there was some flashing or issues in the manufacturing process. But water was able to get into the top layer of the bait. Threw me for a loop when I saw it. Thought I snagged a dang marble hahaha!

Hit up Lake Juliette on Sunday... The ol wacky rig came through. Targeted a shallow saddle flat with cover on both sides. I literally cast out my rig, sat pole down to adjust my kayak, picked up my rod, and a fish was on it.... Tried fishing slower the rest of the day, but only got one. I didn't think about moving further back off the bank until I read Alex Sterling post last night. Anyways, a good bass on Juliette is a win for me any day so I'm happy with it.

Dipped a line in my local reservoir and fished clay bottom flats with laydowns.

Need a fish ID. Was fishing a new creek today. Was expecting largemouth, but started catching spots. Those were easy to identify due to the extra rows of lines below the lateral. Also caught some smallmouth-hybrids it seems. Biggest fish appears to be a largemouth but the mouth doesn't extend past the eye. So is it a spot?

45 degree water on the Great Lakes, Erie specifically . Blasted em. How do you think we caught them? Destiny Siguenza was on fire!
