Down in St. Vincent this week catching some exotics. Stay tuned for more!
I’m finally catching a few fish! It usually takes a day or 2 to start zoning in on the productive areas.
Part 2 of putting what I've learned here about lipless crankbaits to work. Lipless + weedline along a windblown point has been the recipe for success. This one weighed in just shy of 6lbs.
Took the day to go out on Lake Lanier with a guide…. We had a great 1/2 day catching 15+ fish. Things are definitely changing as they move up chasing bait fish in back of creeks and coves. We caught majority around 1 dock with worms and jigs. Fun day on the water
Few dinks I caught today.. water temp 50 degrees flat.. jig and Texas rig palmetto bug was the ticket on these finicky fish .. even tossed around a Alabama rig some with no success..
Not a bad start to the day four pounder.
I definitely needed the confidence boost after the last two tournaments.
FL update-They were hungry for the Frog today. As soon as it hit the water. You could see the swirls this one came for it from about 1o ft away. Gotta start keeping a scale in the golf bag, but I’ll guesstimate this chunk to be pushing 3.
Tilapia and Bass on Beds already here. ❤️🤤
Been putting what I've learned here about lipless crankbaits to practice lately and God blessed me with a good one yesterday. Muddy water, red/firecraw hammer trap, and working a weedline brought this 5lber out of hiding.
