I had an absolutely amazing tournament day on Lake Champlain!! My boat ran great. My homework, preparation, and taking advantage of opportunities on the day paid off with a 21.08 lb mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth and a 1st place win. Thanks, Brian Latimer for SUFSchool over the past year.

Took my oldest out and let him use the kayak .. he couldn’t catch anything I said let’s change that and gave him a smh jig head and smh worm hot snakes and he was on them.. if all else fails throw a 1/8 smh jig head and a hot snakes ..

I’ve been using this rod that Brian Barde made for me. I just did a one rod challenge for my Tv show using it. I know I talk a lot about having the right gear on here. It’s true that you get better results with technique specific rods. It’s also true that you don’t need every rod skew on the market to have a good time on the water. I used this one rod for 3 different techniques! I caught and landed bass on all 3 techniques.Ā
