Thanks Brian and everyone that makes these events and meet ups possible, that includes all the attendees that are very inviting and willing to provide advice. Picked the hobby up 4 years ago and with 3 active kids, full time job and a few side jobs I only get about 2-3 hours a week to fish. This particular event on clear water and taking in all the info of what to look for and what fish reactions mean I was able to put a lot of mental puzzle pieces together. Definitely want to join as many events as possible. Thanks again to everyone!

This was my first time attending the retreat. I've had the SUF app for a while now but haven't been very active. My good fishing buddy and friend John Wilson is who inspired me to come join the app, fish the monthly tournaments and come to the retreat. I had a blast and will definitely be coming back. I love Brian's way of teaching. It's not overcomplicated. But yet it's super insightful and made me realize just how much I've been overlooking things on the water and with baits because of how much I tend to overthink things. I look forward to the next one.

Had a great time at the retreat this week. Fishing for us was slow the last Thursday and Friday. Went to the great seminar on Saturday and then back on the lake for a few hours until right at sunset. Applied what we learned at the seminar (rod position, line slackness, paired with SMH jig heads -Thanks for the assist Caleb!) and ended up catching a few fish (lost a monster spot as he missiled out of the water like an ICBM from a submarine). Got out this morning and applied the same principles with added emphasis on line management due to wind (we stayed mostly near secondary rocky points and prominent bank transitions in Tugaloo) and had our best day of fishing with double digit spotted bass caught. Thanks again team and B. Lat! Now get some rest dude!

Be safe out there on Hartwell this morning as the front pushes thru, earlier than previous forcasts predicted. Changing conditions, feast or famine. Will it slow the fish or fire them up?

I want to thank everyone who was at the Live event today. I felt welcome from the time I arrived. Tight lines to everyone. I hope to find a usable ramp in the morning to get my boat in close to where we are stayin. The ramp I thought I found runs out of concrete about 15 to 20 ft before the waterline.

If any of you are headed to Central Florida and need a brain to pic please feel free to contact me.
