I got cell reception!!! For a few days there was no reception at my house but now we have at least a little bit. Still no power. This completely surprised all of us. We had no idea it was gonna be this serious. Usually we aren’t affected by a hurricane in the upstate. We’re absolutely all good. Fortunately I have a generator and a place to stay. To be honest we’re almost just having fun. It’s been a good break. For some people it hasn’t been as easy. From what I’ve seen so far 40 people lost their lives to Helene over the weekend due to flooding and entrapment by trees. I’ve never seen our area impacted this way. Thanks checking in and asking about us. I can communicate here in the app but I don’t know if I have enough reception to do a live. Maybe we can try tomorrow. I don’t have anything else to do with no power!

Fun fact, you might be in the south if you’re at a restaurant and all the weight staff has to come over and see the hook in your finger
