Fished a tournament on the Alabama river a couple of weeks ago out of holy ground battlefield and as you can see they were close to going through the drain. I caught an abundance of fish this size and really struggled finding the big fish. I have a tournament on the section downriver from here out of Roland Cooper and wondered if anyone had a little advice for a big bite? Thanks (I caught most of these fish on a swim jig)
So, I tried browsing. (I'm not a paid member, yet, since I just joined). I cant see what all the paid membership intells? So I'm reaching out to the community for details. Much appreciated!
What a Memorial Day weekend!Β π₯΅
Saturday: Suzuki maintenance (Oil change and lower unit oil), built two rods, sold some BardeRodz premium sleeves (way better than those old mesh ones!)
Sunday: Family car repair day - backup camera install, Apple Car Play, 4 new speakers, 2 brake jobs, 2 wheel bearings, and a few other odds and ends. Even fixed the mother-in-law's O2 sensor π . Then, being a Safety boat while my son rowed his scull, I managed to catch 3 pickerel, 1 bass, and a rock bass in 2 hours while keeping a watchful eye on him!
Monday the boys and I had quite the wildlife encounter... this goose nearly became our boat passenger at 40 mph! https://youtu.be/OjwxUyH7DD0
Now I'm so exhausted from this "relaxing" weekend, I went back to work to recover!
As a veteran, I am grateful for those who didn't return - their sacrifice makes weekends like this possible.
Hope everyone had a great one!
Trying to catch some bass before the rain comes β¦.again!!!
Doc Trez and I used the new messaging ability on the app. It honestly worked really well! One note though, it would be great if we could send images through the chat.
Had a great long weekend with the family at the cabin. We ate good food and fished. Ned rig by stumps and swim jigs through the pads were key. Still pre spawn in Northern Wisconsin. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day and weekend!
Hiya! Very sorry for the delay, the live is moved to Wednesday!
