Buzzer beater today during a game time decision, slow rolling the A-rig did the job through a deep 7ft-8ft slow stretch. She bumped it twice on the bottom and then swam up 7 ft to hit it at the boat in 38 degree water today. 19.5” Incher. Only bite today. Couldn’t get em to eat a jerk bait today uncharacteristically. My homie caught his on a jerk though. I’ll take it. Admittedly first smallie on the A-rig. Finally set it up where I wasn’t getting hung up and the heads weren’t to heavy and voila!
Brian Barde and Kevin Skovenski ... Single digits!!!???!!! No wonder Kevin has come to the SUF championships the past 2 years with fresh new babies! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Went out for a couple of hours today before the next cold snap in Virginia. Forced a smile when my buddy caught the lunker of the day 😀
Greenwood keeps kicking my rear trying to catch bass! So I went to get a little confidence back! I’m not sure how confident I am but I won’t go hungry lol. These upstate lakes have been tough on me through the fall.I hope I can put a couple in the boat on the first tournament.
Things won’t look the same as last weekend. I’m gonna jump inside of the app for a quickie at 12pm est to talk about this.
Hi all, I’m Anthony and I caught my first 5lber on my first bass boat at my home lake in Southern California today. I just joined the community and am so stoked to learn from all the resources here in this awesome platform. My goal is to fish a local tournament and just keep improving from there. Hopefully everyone has a great weekend fishing!
Best part about nightshift... Is being able to have time to catch up rewatch the older content... You never know what you may have missed or forgotten. Definitely helped me get recentered on basics.
For anyone fishing Lake Murray in the BFL SC division opener. NPFL is about to go live on Lake Murray. It's their final stop for 2024.

I'm like a meth addict over here. The weather has been ridiculous, and my boat is in the shop getting serviced for the 2025 season. I haven't been fishing in what feels like forever. Please post your catch pics so I can live vicariously.
Tim Dodson asked about marking waypoints so this is one of the tricks I use when I see stuff like road beds, rock plies, old ramp or foundations. If you notice in the picture I just did a quick drawing of this area because I know there is an old boat ramp right next to this ramp. The red lines show were the ramp is. When I mark it, I will place dots or marks along the edge of it and the end of it to "draw" an outline. Then I will place one in the center with a title of what it is. Plus it helps with size reference. So if I find rock pile, I do the same thing. Outline with marks then one in the center. Now, you can easily see it on your map and know how to position your boat without having to scan it. Hope that helps explain it.
