Went out for a few hours today. Tried to go deep, but didn’t see anything past 15feet. Had 2 smaller bass come to the boat but jumped off on a jig. Then fished shallow for Musky, had 3 follow to the boat with a big spinnerbait. Hopefully I can get out again before I need to winterize the boat.

2025 Phoenix Bass Fishing League events sign ups open in one month Dec. 2, 2024! I for one am nervous excited for the upcoming year of fishing.
The Lake Murray event is 1/18/2025 for those fishing the South Carolina Division. Get your practice and prep started now.
BLat, what are the chances you can be persuaded to do some work shops on lakes from some of the divisions in addition to, of course to the process demonstrated last night? 😉

Got into a lil fall tourney on Lake Mayo in NC today with a buddy. Caught a lot of fish just not the right ones or the right species. Weighed in 5 for 8lbs and some change, winner had 15. The fall rides are better than any other time of the year. If it were a Chain Pickerel Tourney we would have had 20+ 🤣. Get out there befor all the leaves are gone!!

Tron Foster made a comment on a post about the frittside about it being the best tuned crankbait out of the package. And I didn’t know you were supposed to tune crankbaits. I looked through the older videos and didn’t see anything. So how do we tune crankbaits? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

Some of the fishing we did this weeks looks brainless in video. It’s very technical however. These guys caught on to the nuance VERY QUICKLY.

One Tourney left in our season with the potential of earning the 2024 AOY trophy. If you are bored circle a spot on the lake and I’ll try to fish it this coming Saturday in your honor. 🏆 Its only my 3rd time on this lake. Have been using some of the tips from the last live fall fishing lesson to research it and build a plan. Will keep you posted on Saturday of how it’s going real time and try to take some pics while fishing your suggestion.
