They were indeed smashing a jerkbait in 34 degree water. The brightest most direct light of the day turned them on. Sitting on the bottom in 10-11ft on a very rocky bank I could see them on the graph all day. We had a couple head butt the A-rig but thatβs it. As soon as the sun started to fall and hit that rocky bank directly they switched on for about 20 mins. Definitely wasnβt easy, but the mission was accomplished. 20 some mph gusts all day on the river made it hard to even present a bait. 5 hours in and 3 fish in the last 30 mins before we had to motor back about 2 miles. This is winter fishing. Happy to have gotten out there.

Not all heros wear capes, mine wore a white beard, overalls, and chewed tobacco! Not 100% sure he was not Santa. Lol I still went fishing though, just at a better boat ramp. π€£π€£π€£... Hi all, Iβm Anthony and I caught my first 5lber on my first bass boat at my home lake in Southern California today. I just joined the community and am so stoked to learn from all the resources here in this awesome platform. My goal is to fish a local tournament and just keep improving from there. Hopefully everyone has a great weekend fishing!

These do not overlap any of the NC Region BFLs. And you can get some practice in on Norman for The BFLs and the SUF classic.
Also if youβve never fished on Jordan itβs full of πs
Regardless hope to see you all on the water somewhere soon.
