Just sayin…every time I wear this shirt and throw a gremlin…I’ve caught my 3 biggest bass this year. 

When the man says throw at the dock when it has a double post, he’s not wrong.  

Spent the weekend fishing at Buggs  Island. Spent a lot of the time using plastic swimbaits. Caught stripers, crappie, white bass, catfish and largemouth bass. Rained mostly Saturday was miserable with rain on Sunday. Fish don’t care and do bite in the rain. 😱  

Monday I leave for the next Tour event on lake Eufaula. Looking forward to solving problems, building some plans and executing on opportunities.

Tournament went OK, learned a lot. Fish were not on beds yesterday and late this morning beds were popping up.

Worms - Smoke purple, Green pumpkin Goby, Coopertruese

Topwater - Propbait is white with black back. Frog is white and black, big walking topwater for herring spawn is chrome

Jerkbait - Regurgitated shad. (only one)

Spinnerbait - Bluegill and white/ chart

Swimbait - Pearl and opening night

That's all I have tied on right now....

There's a time to peg your sinkers and a time I feel like it's best to leave it alone!
