What’s up SUF family! Hope all of you guys and gals are well and in good spirits! I Haven’t been active on here much due to health issues. I had a successful heart surgery and hopefully no more strokes. Hey BLat won’t be able to make the seminar but hopefully I can see some of you on that Sunday. Tight lines everyone!

Highlights from the first stop of Bassmaster college series. The turney fished super tuff with the cold front and we had boat problems bringing us off the water day one. Next stop is Lake Seminole.

Took 2nd place in Greg Blanchard's January monthlong nationwide tournament..! And won Big Bass award with a 22.75" largemouth..!!

We got a break!! It's in the teens today people.. Suns out, blue bird sky's, and the ice is safe to drive on after a week and a half of negative temps and the windchill has been something else. Burrrr!!! My cousin, a friend of his and myself got into some really nice gills today, we kept 17. Some of these gills where so thick, they must be eating alright! (second picture) Got one small bass on a tip down, that was cool. First bass I've seen in person I think since the beginning of this last Nov. maybe? All made for a realy nice day in my book, fun stuff!

I did a thing today. Now there is 2 in the stable. Another chapter is beginning.

This happened to me today... Ever been freezing then fire hot? I was happy to get out there and then decided to decapitate the tip while casting a spinner bait. Not to mention my reel's bird nest could have housed a bald eagle!!!... Havent even caught a fish with it yet!

How can there be no temperature? I think it's broken.

This is for my kayak fishers. What are some cautions or dangers that you would warn new kayakers about? You guys are out there all the time and would be great sources of information for those who want to get into kayak fishing. Please share your thoughts and experiences.
