Fishing the Neuse/Trent rivers here in NC. Just cant seem to find anything larger than these dinks. Lots of frogging and flipping pads. Need to find deeper water, surface temp was 88° yesterday. Fished a couple 15-25 foot holes with a big worm, one little tap but no fish.

Simplicity going back to simple has helped me a lot lately downsizing and finesse 2.25” tubes and a straight tail GP blue with tip dyed chartreuse 1/8 oz Texas rig have been on fire lately. Find my self getting a lot of rods out and using only a couple having to tell myself keep it simple stupid put the lot of rods away and just fish smaller and slower as the heat rolls in catching more and bigger fish that way.
