Charlie Draughter ya absolutely, some stuff you find out as you go. But here is my list.

If you ever do breakdown, my plan is to use my trolling motor to get me home. Otherwise you can flag someone down for a tow. Sometimes boat insurance companies offer towing. There is also tow USA.

NOCO boost charger - incase I drain my starting battery or need to charge my phone.

I have a Mercury 2 stroke so I always carry extra oil on board.

Extra prop for Lowrance Ghost and the tools to change the prop on the water.

Extra bilge plug

Sandpaper for battery terminals. Incase you get some corrosion with lead acid batteries and you run into trouble.

Small screwdriver kit

Extra ropes to be towed or tow another boat

A good med kit because my wife says I’m injury prone.

In my SUV I keep a tire iron to change the wheel on my Trailor if needed. Also a tire patch kit.

I’ll be out fishing too after work so I’ll have you on while I’m fishing.
