I changed the prop on the water and Ken and I idled or 1100 rpm back the 20 miles to the ramp. Bent prop shaft made any higher rpm shake too bad.

Thanks Mack! I need to get the insurance adjuster out to see it.

No because of the fiberglass I won’t put it in the water. My understanding is the fiberglass will soak up the water and make repair even worse. The lower unit could be replace in a few hours.

That current is scary!!! I am glad you instantly got the boat. If you have not been to the St Lawrence, all Great Lakes flow through St Lawrence to Ocean. The only river that flows more volume is the Mississippi River. That current scares me. Good job on quick recovery and boat return.
