Mack Toon mine is bigger than yours lol

Here is my understanding - The thermocline: water above is warmer which tends to carry less oxygen, while the water below is cooler and typically depleted of oxygen. Bass may hover around it to stay cool during the summer heat while finding enough oxygen just above it. Test out the theory.

I’ve used Lowrance for over a decade. They make good stuff. Get it on the boat and use it. Most people only use about 20% of the features you don’t need the high-end stuff to catch good fish.
