The earlier dates are available the better from a planning perspective. I will make this a priority because memories made are better than memories wished for.

I agree - I do like my Lowrance - mostly because I spent time learning and using them well.

I tried this. One showstopper for me: the tablet is not bright enough on sunny days and the battery life is a concern.

They certainly are not biting my lures as well as they did. Smallmouth seem to be moving deeper. I will figure them out.

Warm water plus cold air created cool fog. I believe one of my local lakes is beginning to turnover. It was crystal clear last weekend, but now it's becoming a bit cloudy but no smell. The water temperature still seems somewhat warm, in the low to mid-50s at the surface. Fishing was challenging for me today; I only managed to catch one. It is hard for me to tell when my lake has started the turnover. Does anyone else know for sure when their lake has?

I like the new lake and the aggressive fish! We could do Lake Champlain in early February and do ice fishing... 😆
