I’m in! May need to use one this weekend.

I get them on lipless cranks and a jerkbait while bass fishing. In early spring they will chase the shad all the way up to the rocks in Occoquan River.

Good luck this weekend. I have our final two day club tournament this weekend also.

Just a little bridge fishing on a river creek. Lipless crankbait in about 12 foot of 62 degree water on a cloudy day.

Potomac River bass fishing- kinda nice when the stripers show up! Lipless crankbait along a rocky bluff.

Blat- loved the front yard analogy. So true! I see people outside my yard but when they get closer then the spidey sense starts tingling. 👀👀

I hate to admit it but I have been there when the boater is making several casts to the same little laydown. I’m thinking in my mind “ok that’s enough, move on”. Then , they catch a good bass.

Nowadays , especially if I’m by myself, you all hear me saying there is a bass on the laydown and encouraging the bass the bite. Sometimes , it works. At minimum, it keeps my confident in my fishing.

Excellent presentation last night. We are fortunate to live in the technology age that allows for several means of research before we even show up at a lake. Your research will build confidence so when you get on the water you can relax and just fish. Thank you BLAT for taking the time to demonstrate the research methods. I look forward to utilizing them for future fishing.

If you are on google maps , you can also look at historical maps back in time to figure out what the lake looks like in a drought. Many points and structure will be visible on the maps.

Tight lines!

Looking forward to it.
