We had 16.73. Good enough for 8th on Lake Russel. It took over 20 to win. All in all it was a fun day.

I hear anglers talk about jerk baits but that’s one bite that I’ve never been able to figure out. What conditions make you pick up a jerk bait over others? Also what types do you prefer etc. suspending, sinking, or others?

I saw temps in the low 60s on Clark’s hill this past weekend. Definitely a bunch moved up in the shallows

Fished a small club tourney. Fishing sucked. It was on Jackson lake if you are familiar. Saw a bunch of fish but they were dodging my minnow

As for tournament fishing the new boat has a lot of pros. I like the bigger deck especially if it’s a team tournament. Also the bigger boat is safer on some of the bigger lakes But it all come down to what you can afford and still have the money to go fish. I was in the same position as you when i bought my phoenix. I opted for the bigger boat and it’s allowed me to go fish lakes that i would have never took my ranger 373. That’s my two cents 😂
