As for tournament fishing the new boat has a lot of pros. I like the bigger deck especially if it’s a team tournament. Also the bigger boat is safer on some of the bigger lakes But it all come down to what you can afford and still have the money to go fish. I was in the same position as you when i bought my phoenix. I opted for the bigger boat and it’s allowed me to go fish lakes that i would have never took my ranger 373. That’s my two cents 😂

I caught and 8.9 largemouth on Lake Lanier 2 years ago. Middle of January on a 2.8 Keitec. Only negative was it was the day before the tournament. SMH. Haven’t had a chance to fish for smallmouth yet
