Kinda of funny you mentioned this. Never iced fish this lake, so i didn't know if it was springy in spots or not, one of the holes i drilled it was about 2" so backed away from that!! Id say the next set of holes averaged 5" or 6". Did have a honeycomb layer to it. Wasn't nice and solid.

It was one of the lakes around the Oxford area.

You had a lot of first experiences!  That's cool you got to meet MDJ, been watching a lot of his stuff in my learning journey.  Pretty cool dude he seems to be!  The bass on the fly rod must have been awesome, must of felt like a shark on a set up like that.

No kidding??! How did you figure that one out or learn about using that for cleaning?  How did you use it?
