Going with the Hidden Valley! I'd do a good blue cheese as a sub if needed.

Thanks for the advice, I didn't know that. I will remember that for next time :) I went ahead acouple of days ago and did that kydex gaurd/patch repair method. I like the DIY type stuff and went that route.... it looks good for what it is. I am happy with it. Need to get it in the water and put some miles on it to see how it holds up!

If you wanna wait till March 7th-9th. In Madison, Wi at the Aliliant Energy Center there is a event called Canoecopia put on by Rutabaga paddlesports. I have not been able to go to it yet but I will make it there finally this spring. I have been told and believe it is one of the largest events in the industry nationwide that caters towards anything paddlesports, they do sell kayaks and equipment there also. I was just there talking to one of the sales people and he said if you wanna buy anything that's the time to do it. I'd say look it up once and see what you think. Give the folks at Rutabaga a call, they are the only people I deal with in my area and are real friendly and very knowledgeable. 608-223-9300. My personal preference in fishing kayaks is Bonafide and they just came out with a river kayak called the RVR119 that's supposed to be pretty Bad A**. Anywho... hope alittle of this helps or is useful to ya!

Will be watching this after work today if it is up, super interested in what you got to say on the new boat. I am weighing my options, I told myself I want to buy some type of a boat this spring. Don't know if I will follow through but any info on a boat I will soak up!

1. I liked the break down when he was talking about the visibility of the water vs what colors then he goes after and uses. Such as 1ft, 1ft to 3ft, and then beyond 3ft.

2. Last thing for me was that he mentioned but didn't dive into real deep was the corelation of the line to the bait I believe is how he stated it. A bit more info on what he specifically looks for in the line area would be cool.

A FUN LIVE IT WAS! I just started fishing a jig this year so this live was a bunch of gold nuggets for sure.
