How far are you from Columbia? I’m gonna be there in two weeks.

Much to wife's chagrin she gets the "hot wash" or debrief from my tournament experiences. Recently she has been my #1 cheerleader. It's been tough.  I definitely had some lesson learned from this weekend's exploits. Which is an excellent question for discussion IMHO.  When you guys (The PROs) have tough practice and less than good tournament how do you stay confident for the next? It feels different when it's your dream, to have tough setbacks.

Wells guys and gals I had to change my status to voter in order to get off the waitlist and be able to compete in the tournament so wish me luck please. Thank you.

Yes, thank you.  I think I’m just going to switch to boater.

In my defense I was practicing for a tournament on a new body of water.

This sounds great but I imagine I'm too cheap to afford your stuff, but this sounds great.

The lakes in the Raleigh NC area are blown out their banks and muddy.  It does however make for some newish waters to fish. I was able to push way up in a feeder creek that would normally be a no go on the boat.  There also so seem to be a good number of bait balls in the muddy water.

That is cool

I target option D. All the above, or whichever species bites.  LoL

That is the only fish I managed to boat, however I let a smaller fish shake off at the boat and a what felt like a much larger fish broke me off.  I went back to the same area today and the water had gone down a good bit but was still about the color of chocolate milk. I did manage to get a few more bites and boat a couple 15"ers.  Caught one on a black and blue chatter bait with a Bandito bug trailer, black and blue gig with a Bandito bug trailer and a third one a square bill crank. I also missed 2 decent bites on a Texas rigged Bandito bug.
