This happened today.
When I pulled back on throttle unfortunately pulled it too far. I couldn’t run big motor after. May be heading to the shop. Had run back to the ramp on trolling motor roughly 2+ miles.

Had my maiden voyage in the kayak today on a little pond with Alex Sterling. Alex was kind enough to be my yak buddy for the morning and help me with tons tips and need to know for successful kayak fishing experience. We also caught a couple of fish.
Today's experience with the help from Alex made me think a live or 3 focused on the all the tips and trick for kayak fishing might not be a bad thing. 😜

I'm a little lagged in posting a results update from the Toyota Bonus Bucks tournament I got to fish this past weekend.
Lake Guntersville showed why it has the legendary status for big fish. Unfortunately, we didn't get enough of the big ones to finish in the money. We did finish 88th out of 230 boats, so that's pretty good for a couple of good ole boys. However, the weekend was a HUGE success IMHO. I got to spend the weekend fishing a bucket list lake with my brother and we caught a respectable number of fish. We also got to meet so very cool Pro anglers and a great group of people. It was a great event overall and I would gladly do it again if I get the chance.
I can add all the gory fishing detail if anyone is interested.

Got salty with them this morning. We’re only allowed to keep two up to 27 inches. We boated 30 of them.

I did a little cull work today. Took some 1pounders from an over populated pond for a family fish fry. I really enjoy this scenario it gives me the opportunity to work on different techniques and see how fish respond.

Question for the community
Is this a largemouth or Shoal bass?
I caught this guy wade fishing the Ochlockonee river.
