Do any of my fellow Raleigh area anglers know if the what stage the spawn is in the surrounding lakes?

I have seen a number of comments about hair jigs. I was wondering if these were what y’all were talking about.

I spent my last day fishing in Florida fishing from the bank spent a lot of time thinking about the families impacted by the terrible accident. My heart goes out to them.
