Good grief my unlucky timing. Boat getting serviced and now my truck transmission is broken. It’s going to be an interesting couple of weeks leading into season opener.

I have found Wikipedia to be an interesting source for information while researching Lake Murray. Not really a lot of fishing info but interesting background information on lakes.

Does anyone know the rules on using the Alabama rig in MLF tournaments? I can't find it and thought I heard it was an illegal tournament rig.

Got on the water and the wind blew like crazy. I couldn’t do it. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper, but I’m gonna try it again. Tomorrow forecast is favorable for winds.

I’m heading up to Kerr Lake because it’s most similar to Lake Murray, which is where the first tournament of the season is in two weeks. I just really feel like I’m not prepared yet so I need to get them practice hours in.
