Next, I come over there I want to go fishing with Brooks.  Little man catches em.

It was tough! The good news is I made it through mostly unscared, mostly.

I did get a chance to walk out to the boat house to see if bait fish had pushed up to the shallows.  I also ate BBQ and watched college football. Also got to talk with my dad in Florida and he has us setup to do some Red fishing (Red Drum for the non-FloGrown) and Crappie fishing when we go visit next week.  Also, one of my nephews asked about tournament fishing and I got to talk about that aaaand plug SUF ;)

I joke. I'm ALL about family I was happy to hang out and visit.

By the way thank you for all the prayers and support. 😆

I think my wife may have stumbled on to the most torturous experience she could possibly expose me to. I am right now driving to go spend the day with the Inlaw extended family at a lake house on Lake Gaston and no fishing poles no fishing boat no fishing allowed. I may need therapy after this.

Ricky, I would love to go fishing with you when you’re down this way unfortunately this time of the year is a little tough. My wife and I are heading to Florida the day after Christmas to go see two of our children and an extended family. We will not be backuntil January 5 if you’re still in town by that time we can definitely get together and get on the water, but you don’t need to bring any poles. I have more than enough fish and tackle for the two of us.
