Freezing my tail off Up here in PA the Delaware river is crystal clear. Flat sided crankbait and 1/2 oz jigs has been producing smallmouth and walleye up to about 20 ft and strong current. On smaller lakes in 6 - 8 foot of water SMH has been the deal. Going for Stripers the next couple of days.

If you are using braid a leader will help minimize fouling the first treble hook.

Man, I didn’t see this until after I left Calhoun for Bobby Brown campground. Would have stopped by but needed a shower to knock the funk off from fishing for 12 hours

Here is the general address from google maps or various gps. 46 Maintenance Shop Rd, Calhoun Falls, SC 29628 it will be obvious one you enter the little pay here box. It is the first right turn. Brown signs will point you to the center.

I believe the biggest takeaway from this segment is the process of covering a lot of water quickly. Process dictates being efficient, then secondly is the fine tuning for the type of area being explored. I could be wrong but that’s what made the most impact in my eyes.
