I feel your pain. Dink bass yo-yo'd up the line and got me. Firm believer in fish gripper now when it comes to little bass and treble hooks

Christopher Bowman it definitely has saved me many a times getting the reel engaged as soon as the bait hits the water. Missed a lot of fish when I pitched right hand and had to switch hands to engage.

For me, my spinning reel has to be left handed and my baitcasters are right handed. It drives my buddies nuts that are strictly left or right. I think it was just the era I grew up in. I pitch and flip left handed but right hand for side, over head, and backhand casting.

Can we add "accidently" to the survey?! At my local lake they are starting to show up in areas of the lake they don't normally haunt so it's been a pleasant suprise.

This is entirely optional. Photochromic/fluorescent line and a UV light. Your lines will be visible in the uv (blacklight). If you are use to watching your line this will help. Again, purely optional.
