Just wanted to share my boat build and let others know it’s alot of work but so worth it . This is my 1991 alumacraft phantom V170 rebuilt from the float foam up. Floor ,wiring harness/fuse panel, added lighting storage and graphs(two at the dash and two up front and a non mega 360) updated to a 115 Johnson .
Also added a deck extension with custom cut out and lighting for the tackle storage !

I wanted a boat to take anywhere and fish club tournaments and it has done awsome and we have fished a lot of water and places so worth it !

There is just something about chasing fish ! Had a chance to get to a very remote area of the boundary waters this weekend to chase lake trout . A 4 hour drive , a 20 mile snowmobile ride and a bit of cardio with elevation To get a chance to fish a place that sees little fishing pressure, that is something I love ! I missed my chance at two fish I lost at the hole but it as a team effort to get there and my dude PIP got a good one so I get to claim a little glory. Gotta love the adventure

Angler development program Application!

New here and been going through and catching up on all the live streams and wanted to throw my hat i the right for the development program /BFLs or others future programs since I just found out about it .

I have dreamed of chasing fish across the US and getting the experience and opportunity to see new fishery’s , different ways of fishing or approaching water. since the days of biking to my local lake and beating the bank .

One of my personal missions in fishing is to show other anglers with a little work and the willingness to learn and the DIY mentality you don’t always have to use the latest and greatest gear to be competitive and doing it yourself can save you money for the things that are worth the investment .

My passion to chase fish has no season just different approaches and equipment.

Bass fishing is my favorite but I target lots of different species because setting the hook is always fun.

I believe that winners are the best at the fundamentals and are always coachable.

Hard work will beat natural skills in time.

You only fail when you choose to quit.

If you like building stuff repairing your own gear , classic cars and fishing open/ hard water and fatherhood give me a follow to on instagram @Tlex_Aivis

Throw back photo from when the dream started
