Think of it as a goose egg. I didn’t catch nothing but as cold as it was I did see multiple blow ups on the surface. Blat was so right on cold does not affect the fish like many say it does.

Good topic! I never could understand the match the hatch. I could throw something not resembling to anything and would catch fish. I play around with variations and if it works, I make a mental note and build off of that. Here lately this translucent gray and pink spinner bait has been a small mouth magnet.
